Surreal beauty. It was a dream holiday for us. Situated on hill, with breathtaking view on medieval town of San Gimignano, vineyards & cypress trees. Scenic window view from the bed with a sound of birds chirping is unforgettable. Apartment was wonderful, beautiful authentic furniture, well-kept garden and a wonderful large pool. Serena, outstanding lady who runs Castello, was just great and super helpful. Kind and assertive, gave us so many useful information (about history, wonderful places to visit – wineries, restaurants, hiking roads…). Even short, unpaved part of the road only added beauty to this scenic look, and it seems it is obligatory to remains like this (in order to preserve natural beauty of Tuscany). We are coming back for sure.
